Open the DMG and drag Clean View into your Applications folder.

Open an image or scan a folder. Make Clean View your default viewer in Settings.

Sign in with Google to save your trial and restore your activation on another Mac.
Will it work on my Mac?
Clean View requires macOS 13 Ventura or newer. The same universal download runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. The app is Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple.
Which files can I open?
Common image formats include JPEG, PNG, HEIC, SVG, WebP, GIF, TIFF and BMP, along with macOS-supported video and PDF previews. RAW and video codec support depends on macOS. Animated images and multi-page documents currently show their first frame or page.
Does scanning move or upload my files?
No. Scanning saves a local index of file locations and sizes. Originals stay in their folders. “Scan Entire Computer” covers accessible files in your home folder, Shared folder and connected external drives, excluding hidden folders, app packages and system files. macOS may ask for folder access.
How does the 100-day trial work?
You can start without a payment card. Sign in with Google in the app to save your account’s trial and activation. After the trial, choose the $7 one-time purchase to continue. You are never charged automatically.
How do I buy or restore my purchase?
Open Your account in Clean View and choose Buy for $7. Polar handles checkout using the same Google account email. Return to the app to activate, or choose Restore purchase. Use that same account on another Mac.
Can I make it my default image viewer?
Yes. Open Settings in Clean View and choose the default-app option. Images you open from Finder will go directly into the preview. The four-square button takes you to your library.
